How should I care for this plant?	Dendrobium orchids prefer partial sunlight, but indoors a south facing window is usually best. The bark compost should be kept moist - water it when the top inch is dry. When orchid flowers start dying, gently remove them from the stems, and cut the sprays back to the cane. The cane will continue to grow when not in bloom. Reduce watering in the winter, and fertilise the plant with a high potassium fertiliser to encourage it to rebloom. New flowers will usually emerge in February, and last for around 6 weeks.

Is this plant safe for pets?	Orchids are safe for pets.
How is the plant packaged?	Our plants are packaged in a cardboard box, with the pot bubble wrapped and secured with a cardboard insert at the base.
How long will this plant live?	Dendrobium orchids can live for several years for proper care. They will bloom for up to 6 weeks at a time, usually from February onwards. Please see our care tips for advice on how to help your orchid rebloom once the flowers have died.
