Cheap Halloween costumes that will give your guests a fright!
Sick of spending way too much money on Halloween costumes? I bet the majority of you out there buy a new outfit each year and don’t even blink an eye at reusing your costumes. So, Blossoming Gifts have looked at ways you can put together a cheap Halloween costume in minutes!
1) Ghost
A ghost outfit is probably one of the easiest and quickest to make, all you need is a old, white bed sheet and a pair of scissors! Simply grab a white sheet, cut some holes for the eyes and mouth and hey presto you have your outfit. You can even dress up the ghost outfit by adding accessories such as a belt, white stockings and makeup.
2) Mummy
Making a Mummy costume is so fun, all you need to do is dress all in white and wrap some toilet roll around yourself. You don’t even have to buy some fake blood, use red colouring or tomato ketchup!
3) Vampire
Vampires come in all different looks as they are such iconic pop culture figures that there are plenty of TV and movie vampire characters for you to mimic, such as Twilight, True Blood and The Vampire Diaries. All you need to do is to get a pair of fake vampire fangs, fake blood and a cape, you can find all these items in your nearest pound shop! You can even use red colouring to dribble on the side of your mouth for the blood and cut up a plastic black binbag for the cape. Wear some white powder and dark eyeliner to make a more dramatic look.
4) Bat
The bat is the emblem of all things Halloween! Just wear all black, a pair of bat ears and grab a black umbrella which you can rip apart and assemble to make the wings.
5) Scary Cat
Watch out for some hissy fits when your guests see your costume! Wear all black, some cat ears and a black tail to clip on to your pants. You can also back comb your hair, grab your black eyeliner to draw on some whiskers or use a mask.
